The module introduces the concepts of quality and accreditation in higher education. It covers the various aspects of quality assurance, quality standards and their relationships with accreditation.

• Demonstrate understanding of the purposes and methods of accreditation
• Demonstrate understanding of the global standards for medical education and version them for local conditions
