This module aims to give students an understanding of the principles of technology-enhanced learning. It provides students with opportunities to experience a number of technologies used to facilitate different pedagogical approaches and to develop their own resource
Learning outcomes:
- Utilize e-learning techniques
- Acquire the Advanced presentation skills
- Define and describe learning/course management systems
- Apply the instructional design technique.
- Produce and prepare different teaching materials.
- Facilitate face to face and on – line interactive sessions
- Prepare and conduct computer-based examinations
- Critically evaluate current trends in eLearning from the viewpoint of the different stakeholders
- Critically evaluate a wide range of eLearning tools and their application within health education
- Develop original and creative responses to problems and issues related to their own context, implementing good technology-enhanced design processes
- Critically reflect on the wider issues surrounding the use of technology in learning and teaching
